GDPR, that took effect on 28/05/18, requires formal consent from clients to access and use their data in this way and so before booking an appointment online you will need to accept the privacy policy. If at any time you would like to withdraw your consent to anything we do with your personal information you have the right to withdraw consent at anytime by contacting the details below.


Your data will only be used and disclosed for the specific purpose for which it is collected:

  • to enable communication between us regarding your care

  • to enable communication between us regarding services I offer pertaining to your care

  • marketing purposes (if explicitly requested)


Lily Canetty-Clarke uses Cliniko as an online tool to collect and store patient data safely and securely. You can read their privacy policy here. This also enables me to do the following if requested by the client:

Remove clients from marketing-related communications

Modify or move clients personal details

Provide clients with a copy of all their personal information

Delete all of a clients information from Cliniko (under certain circumstances)

Record whether or not a client has consented to this privacy policy

Let clients consent to this privacy policy when booking online

My website is hosted on Squarespace, Inc. (Squarespace). Your data is stored through Squarespace’s data storage, database and the general Squarespace application. Squarespace uses analytics tools to help measure traffic and usage trends for my site. For more information you can read Squarespace’s Terms of Service here or privacy statement here.

A consultation with Lily Canetty-Clarke involves the collection, use, store and transfer of information consisting of name, address, date of birth, email address, telephone number and personal information about your health both past and present, your current and past medication and the health of your family.


Lily Canetty-Clarke will hold data for at least 7 years for an adult, unless explicitly asked to be deleted and any children’s data will be held until the patient is at least 25 years old. This is to comply with legal obligations, resolve any possible disputes, and enforce our policies.


The information you provide is confidential and will not be shared with anyone else unless obliged to by law or it is felt that you are at risk of harming yourself or someone else. During practitioner supervision your health condition may be discussed in order to provide the best patient care and outcomes, however all personal data will be anonymised to protect your personal data and comply with GDPR legalities.
